How to participate (archived)
Year 1 offered three anomaly detection sub-challenges. Teams could join any individual track or compete across all three with the same team name to appear in the combined leaderboard.
Scoring and submissions ran on Codabench; links remain for reference. For the combined challenge, ranks across the three tracks were summed to determine overall placement.
Discovering hybrid butterfly species through pattern recognition in image datasets
Finding unmodeled gravitational wave events, such as potential supernovae, in detector data
Identifying unusual fluctuations in water levels that do not correspond to known environmental factors or historical data patterns
